Possibly the most beautiful city in the Southern Hemisphere. It is a place everyone must go at least once in their lifetime.

Sydney has it all- beaches, nightlife, fine food, great scenery, great architecture. It’s clean and fun. It has more things to do than any other city- surfing, swimming, scuba-diving, roller-blading. The national parks in and around Sydney offer some spectacular bush-walks. Or if you just feel like watching this city has got even more fanatical about sports since holding the most successful Olympic games ever in 2000, there is always a selection of Rugby, Cricket, Horse racing, even Gaelic football and every two years the combined rules events between Ireland’s Gaelic Stars and Australia’s top Aussie rules stars (where does Setanta O’Hailpin play?)

Sydney has plenty of Irish bars to make you feel like you’re at home, the most famous (and possibly not the cheapest) is The Mercantile Hotel on ‘The Rocks’ almost underneath Sydney Harbour bridge- it’s where you’ll find U2 hanging out when they’re in town.
