Airport Transportation:

The airport is serviced by bus, train and taxi service. Buses depart from outside the airport terminal for the trip to the city centre. Trains can be taken from the airport for the 30-minute trip to the city center and cost about €1. Alternatively, taxis can be hailed outside the terminal and cost about €10.

Explore Malaga:

Visit the sights: Catedral, a lovely 16th century cathedral with tower and lovely enclosed choir; Alcazaba, 11th century Muslim fortress with ruins of a Roman amphitheatre and great views of the city; Castillo de Gibralfaro, a castle perched over the city with walls leading to the Alcazaba; Picasso’s Birthplace Museum; and Palacio Aduana, 18th century palace housing the local government. Wander the streets and enjoy: Palacio Buenavista, beautiful building that is to house the soon to open Picasso museum; Plaza de la Marina, a square overlooking the port; and Paseo del Parque, a long, wide avenue rising from the harbour leading to the old town. Finally, go for a bit of sun and fun at the local beach, Playa de la Malagueta.
